A designer will generally take a brief, research and mull over several approaches, available materials, fixtures and fittings, furnishing styles and harmonious colours before conceptualising his or her idea to meet the brief.
So how much should one pay for an idea?
Fixed fee between 5% – 15% of total cost of project or £85 hourly with time sheet submission, up to agreed budget allocation.
Competitively priced materials and labour costs with all required energy performance certification.
Charged in addition to the Design fee and dependant on the size of the project and amount of work involved. Generally £85 hourly.
